AMER RELEASES MID-YEAR ADDENDUM TO 2017 NEW PRODUCT CATALOG

NORCROSS, GA -- Amer Rugs, which distributes its annual catalog of new products every January to coincide with major international market introductions, premiered its first-ever mid-year addendum catalog this month showcasing 71 newly added designs.
The 80-plus page catalogs will be available at Amer's Las Vegas Market showroom (B-431), and were distributed earlier in July at the Atlanta International Area Rug Market. Laid out according to weave, the catalog has sections for its hand-knotted, hand-tufted, hand woven, machine made and shag collections. Indexes cross-reference all designs by collection name and color. Each collection is showcased with a room set or vignette as well as silhouette photos of all new product introductions.
The lead double page spread for the new Mystique collection in the new Amer catalog features the orange colorway, a best-seller at the July 2017 Atlanta International Area Rug Market.
"As Millennials become a more significant target for retailers, color trends and textures are evolving more quickly - and so are we," said Joe Barkley, vice president of sales and marketing, Amer. "To stay current with this evolution, we've has adjusted the manner in which new products are cataloged with the mid-year addendum."
Amer's website offers a digital flip-book version of the new 2017 addendum catalog, here open to another Atlanta best-seller, the Vector collection.
Barkley said the annual table top catalog customers have come to expect from Amer will still be published each January, and the mid-year addendums will be published each July. The company offers a digital flip book version of the catalog on its website.
"In addition, our IT team has joined forces with our design team to develop a new Amer App to enhance our customers' ability to find the latest trends and fashions from Amer, and the response has been great." The App was introduced before Atlanta market (read full story).
All the new collections will be on display during the Las Vegas Market, July 29 to August 2, in Amer's World Market Center showroom, B-431.
