MOVES HEADQUARTERS TO TENAFLY, NJ
TENAFLY, NJ -- The Oriental Rug Importers Association, Area Magazine and the ORIA Charitable Fund have moved headquarters to 400 Tenafly Rd., #699, Tenafly, NJ 07670, according to Lucille Laufer, executive director of the trade organization.

The Oriental Rug Importers Association (ORIA) is a national trade association formed in 1958 to foster ethical business practices and promote the Oriental rug trade in the United States and in countries that produce Oriental rugs. In recent years, OR IA membership has been expanded to include machine made rug importers and manufacturers.
ORIA membership consists of over 70 U.S. based importers, wholesalers and manufacturers. Products are sourced from virtually every carpet producing country including India, Pakistan, China, Nepal, Tibet, Turkey, Romania and Iran.
ORIA was formerly headquartered at the Oriental Rug Industry Center of America, located at 100 Park Plaza Dr., Secaucus, NJ. It was established in 1986 as a wholesale rug facility. Rug tenants have recently vacated the premises reflecting change in the building's objective.
