ATLANTA -- Retailers at the International Rug Market here voted a boldly designed Turkish hand knotted rug from Capa Imports as their favorite rug among over 200 entrants in the annual Magnificent Carpet Awards event.

The Rug industry gathered Saturday evening, Jan. 19 at the grand ballroom of the Georgia Congress Center for a gala evening celebrating the annual awards, which celebrates the rug-making art. In addition to the buyer's choice award, a panel of independent judges honored entrants in 13 other categories.

Rug exhibitors with permanent showrooms at AmericasMart are invited to submit entries into the contest, which is sponsored by Architectural Digest magazine, as well as AmericasMart.
