THIRD U.S. STORE IN MIAMI

MIAMI, FL – The Rug Company will open its third U.S. location in December 2008 in Miami's Moore building at 4040 NE 2nd Avenue.
The 4,000 sq. ft. space was designed by co-founder and creative director, Suzanne Sharp along with British architect Guy Stansfeld. The new store will be the first of the three U.S. locations to incorporate the new Rug Company Boutique line. The boutiqe line is a collection of tapestry cushions in wool and silk and needlepoint wall-hangings by Paul Smith, Vivienne Westwood, Barber Osgerby and others.
“After the success of New York and Los Angeles, Miami was an obvious choice. Its energy and vibrancy is a perfect fit for our unique and original designs,†said Christopher Sharp, co-founder of the company.
The Rug Company’s rugs are all handmade combining modern design with traditional weaving and knotting techniques.
