ATLANTA -- Rugs Direct, the multi-channel rug retailer headquartered in Winchester, VA, honored three top suppliers at a series of awards ceremonies during the Atlanta Summer Rug Market.
"This is the second year we have honored our outstanding vendors. We want to let them know how much their partnership means to us as our company grows," remarked Randy Kremer, ceo of RugsDirect.
This 2005 Rugs Direct awards were presented to:
Supplier of the Year: United Weavers of America
Partner of the Year: Momeni
Sales Representative of the Year: Tim Donahue of Milliken.
Rugs Direct's core business is its Rugsdirect.com Internet retail store. The company also has two bricks and mortar stores and a catalogue division.

Linda Poag, center, customer service specialist for United Weavers, came down from Dalton, GA to accept the award on behalf of United Weavers. She is joined by UW sales rep Daryll Ernst; Rugs Direct execs Bill Martin, Randy Kremer and David Craig; Samir Abuhadba, general manager of UW, and Kurt VonDeBur, UW sales manager. "Linda is truly the person who deserves this honor. She provides outstanding service to Rugs Direct," noted Abuhadba.
