MASLAND APPOINTED DISTRIBUTOR OF
BRINK & CAMPMAN RUGS IN US, CANADA
MOBILE, AL -- Masland and Brink & Campman have formed a partnership whereby Masland will be the sole distributor of Brink & Campman rugs in the U.S. and Canada.
The rugs will be shown this week at the Las Vegas World Market in Masland's space, C-805.
Brink & Campman rugs were formerly distributed in the U.S. by Delos. The Dutch company produces woven and handtufted rugs in the Netherlands, Nepal and India.
"The addition of the Dutch line significantly expands Masland's product base," said Kennedy Frierson, chief operating officer of The Dixie Group, parent company of Masland.
"Brink & Campman is an acknowledged leader in the European market and offers exceptional quality and sophisticated design choices to its customers."
The Brink & Campman line is comprised of four basic rug types: woven, hand-knotted, hand-woven, and hand tufted.
The rugs are made of wool and wool blends. Woven rugs range from $789 to $2,298 in 5x8 size, Hand-knotted rugs retail at $1,598 and Hand tufted rugs retail at approximately $458 to $798
"This addition of over 140 new rugs offers a diversified collection that greatly expands the Masland offering in price points and styling," said Frierson.
Masland Carpets, a division of The Dixie Group, has designed and produced fine carpets and rugs since 1866.
