RIZZY PURCHASES U.S.
DISTRIBUTION CENTER

CALHOUN, GA. -- Rizzy Home has purchased its 105,000 sq. ft. distribution center in Calhoun, Ga., according to Rizwan Ansari, president of Rizzy.

"The purchase of this building is a major step for our U.S. company," said Ansari. "Our customers trust us and they know we are here to stay."

Rizzy Rugs has been in the present location in Calhoun since 2007.

The Indian-based manufacturing company has served U.S. retailers since 1971. Until the mid 2000's, the company sold primarily to large chains on a container basis.

In late 2006, Rizzy started to actively market to medium and smaller dealers and catalogs with U.S.-stocked merchandise.

Since that time, the company has greatly expanded its product selection in the U.S., including rugs as well as home textiles such as duvets, comforters, bedspreads, linens, pillows, runners, curtains and handcrafted accessories.

In mid-2008, the U.S. home textiles and rug divisions merged to form Rizzy Home.

Rizzy now has showrooms in Atlanta, High Point and Las Vegas.

Rizzy is a major rug and home textiles manufacturer headquartered in India.
