SOLON, Ohio -- Commercial flooring giant Tandus Centiva, a Tarkett company, recently debuted its inaugural collection of area rugs.
The new area rug program is comprised of 10 woven styles in a variety of colors and 21 serging options. The refined designs, manufactured in Nova Scotia, feature classic styling with simple textures, such woven texture loops, woven texture cut and loop, and woven patterned loops.
"Tandus Centiva’s area rug program expands our commercial woven product category into the adjacent category of area rugs," a Tandus Centiva spokesperson told RugNews.com. "Area rugs give architects and designers the ability to soften or add warmth to a room that also utilizes hard surfaces such as LVT [luxury vinyl tile]."

The area rugs are crafted of solution dyed nylon and a blend of solution dyed and space dyed nylons. The Tandus Centiva rug program can be ordered online where shoppers can select the size, style and color, and serging color.
"The area rug program is unique in that our online configurator allows the customer the ability to easily build, visualize and order their area rug," the spokesperson continued. "We also offer a superior warranty and include a premium, non-skid underlayment with every area rug at no charge."
Tandus Centiva offers a range of commercial flooring options, including of modular, broadloom and luxury vinyl tile products.
The Paris-based parent, Tarkett, reported net sales of more than $3 billion in 2016. Tarkett is a global maker of flooring and sports surfaces. Offering a wide range of products including vinyl, linoleum, carpet, rubber, wood & laminate, synthetic turf and athletic tracks, the group serves customers in more than 100 countries worldwide.
