NEW YORK -- KAS announces a new licensing partnership with interior designer, author and television personality Libby Langdon. The new collection designed by Landon includes an assortment of rugs and pillows slated to launch at High Point Market in October 2017.

KAS, a leading manufacturer of handmade and machine-made rugs, pillows and poufs, and Langdon, known for her "easy, elegant, everyday style", are focusing the collection on stylish rugs with exceptional quality and value. KAS will offer dealers the Libby Langdon Rug Collection for distribution across the U.S., Canada and beyond.

"It's exciting to partner with a company that's not currently selling the design direction I am bringing to market," Langdon said. "Introducing new looks that open sales to a new audience and give their existing buyers another style to choose from, makes the collection more valuable." Her KAS rugs will feature indoor and outdoor collections with multiple patterns and colorways, and she is also designing a line of artisan throw pillows for the program.

Langdon draws ideas for her designs from conversations with people across the country. "My design inspiration process begins with the one-on-one time I spend working with clients and consumers, listening to what they like and don't like. That invaluable insight informs my product design, and I'd be crazy not to use it," Langdon adds.  

Libby Langdon is an interior designer, author, product designer and makeover television personality, as well as the creative force behind New York City-based design firm, Libby Interiors, Inc.  Her branded home furnishings licensing collections currently include Braxton Culler, Crystorama, Bradburn Gallery, outdoor furniture for North Cape and most recently rugs for KAS.
