RIZZY AND HOMETEXCO MOVE TO
EXPANDED OFFICES IN GEORGIA
Rizzy Rugs and HomeTexco have moved to this
new facility in Calhoun, GA.
CALHOUN, GA. -- Rizzy Rugs and its sister company HomeTexco, have relocated to a 105,000 sq.. ft. headquarters and distribution center here.
The move more than doubles the size of the company's former 50,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Calhoun. The new facility has adjacent land available for future expansion, according to the company.
Rizzy Rugs and HomeTexco are divisions of RizTex (USA), Inc. Rizzy Rugs is a 35 year-old producer of rugs made in India.
Rizwan Ansari, headquartered in India, is president and chief executive officer of the company. His younger brother, Shamsu Ansari, is director and head of the company's HomeTexco division. Home Texco is a manufacturer and designer of home textiles such as duvets, comforters, bedspreads, linens, pillows, runners, curtains and handcrafted accessories.
Rizzy Rugs have been sold in the US since 1971. In the past, the company sold only container programs to large retailers.
With the US Distribution facility the company now is offering its products to medium and smaller retailers, according to Rizwan Ansari.
"Because of capacity at our factories in India and our commitment to warehousing here in Georgia, we are now able to do business with stores that want to purchase smaller quantities and have them shipped from a domestic FOB point," said Rizwan Ansari.
"We quickly outgrew our original 50,000 square-foot facility and are now located where we can further expand if necessary in the next year or two,€VbCrLf added Shamsu Ansari.
"We're really just getting started in the US,€VbCrLf said Manoj Pathyil, US operations manager. "The Spring High Point was only our second US showing since the company opened its first warehouse and distribution center in the States."
Pathyil said the initial response to the company's rugs and textiles has been strong." I think that retailers want to know that they're getting the best product with the best programmed delivery and pricing,€VbCrLf he said.
"We enjoy the same economies of scale in both the US and India because of our proprietary manufacturing techniques and large productions runs. We can pass that savings on to our customers. We are very confident in our abilities to offer American retailers, not only great designs, but the best customer service, delivery and pricing,€VbCrLf added Rizwan Ansari
Each of the companies' websites is in redevelopment and management expects to be live with the new sites by the end of June.
"As we complete our updated website and unveil our new catalogs and are in a position to provide our
customers the important tools they need, we understand that quick delivery is a key ingredient to both our customer's and our own success," said Shamsu Ansari.
Rizzy Rugs and Home Texco will be showing this Summer at markets in Atlanta and Las Vegas.
