RARE CARPET TO BE EXHIBITED AT DOMOTEX MIDDLE EAST
DUBAI, UAE – A rare carpet valued at more than $1 million will be on display during Domotex Middle East at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, May 25 to 27, 2008.
 Zohra, a hand made silk carpet, is part of the exhibition by Yazdani Corp. of Japan.

Zohra, a hand knotted silk carpet, originated in the city of Tabriz in Iran and features an intricate geometric design. The 8x5 meter (26' x16') carpet required over 40 million knots and took approximately 10 years to be completed in the mid-1970’s. The carpet is now owned by Yazdani Corp. of Japan.
Also to be showcased by Yazdani Corp. is Faraji, a round shaped carpet, also made of silk, valued at over $500,000.

Domotex Middle East 2008 will present a complete selection of hand made and machine made carpets, textile and resilient floor coverings, parquet and wooden flooring, laminates, sports arena flooring, fibers, yarns and textiles; cleaning and application technologies, ceramic tiles and natural stone and marble floorings.
