DESIGNER DAVID SHAW NICHOLLS LAUNCHES COMPANY DEDICATED TO ARCHITECTURAL TEXTILES
NEW YORK – Designer David Shaw Nicholls has launched Process Unlimited, a new online company dedicated to the design, manufacture and sale of architectural textiles worldwide. In addition to introducing new collections and categories by Nicholls, Process Unlimited will continue to produce his signature HandKnot and FlatWeave floor coverings.
The rugs, made in Nepal, are targeted to architects with end-users being specialty retails stores, luxury resort hotels and casinos and corporate interiors.

PureLoom is the first category being introduced. The rugs are hand-knotted of organic fibers. If dyed, vegetal-based colors are used. Because they are free of synthetic chemicals, PureLoom rugs are hypoallergenic, according to the company. Retail for a 5x8 is $2,600 to $4,400.

HandKnot is woven out of bamboo, cactus, linen, silk and mohair, as well as selections handcrafted out of Tibetan wool in its natural cocoa brown and steel grey hues. This category is also free of synthetic chemicals and is hypoallergenic.
Over 150 copyright designs will be available in various categories including XpressWeave, Private Label and Flatweave.
