Troy, N.C. -- To provide retailers with the fresh products they need to spark new business in the spring and summer selling seasons, Capel Rugs is introducing a range of fashionable new designs packed with style, quality and value at High Point Market, Apr. 16 to Apr. 20, 2016.
Introductions include several new designs for the popular Williamsburg line of licensed "trend meets tradition" rugs, as well as a host of introductions under the Capel Rugs brand. Market attendees will see the quality and exceptional detail in the rugs at the showroom located at Market Square, Space 112.
This market, Capel's new additions to the Williamsburg line include two new collections, Ashland and Shalimar Resist, and an extension of three new colors for the Williamsburg Filigree collection:
Ashland and Shalimar Resist: Hand loomed on jacquard looms, the new Ashland and Shalimar Resist collections feature a textural blend of viscose, wool and cotton. Feminine and flirty, these new patterns feature an inch-deep, softly rich pile that adds a sensual dimension to the design. Mostly monochromatic with a serene, large-scale floral pattern, Ashland features three on-trend colorways: aqua, natural and greige. Shalimar Resist, which also leans monochromatic, is a traditional medallion pattern that comes in indigo, taupe and khaki. For both collections, a 5' x 8' rug may retail for $1,049.
Filigree: An elegant transitional/traditional design with an all-over, overscaled damask pattern, Capel's Filigree collection for Williamsburg is being expanded this market with three new colors: Burwell green, grey and indigo. Made in India, this design is hand tufted of 100% wool with a 1/2-inch pile height. A 5' x 8' rug may retail for $899. A 10' x 14' version also is available.
In addition to spotlighting a range of fresh colors, this market's additions to the Williamsburg line all feature a strong texture story.
