ANDERSON, SC -- Mikala Moller has been named director of marketing and merchandising for Orian Rugs, according to Paul Sullivan, senior vice president of sales and marketing.

Prior to joining Orian Rugs, Moller served as marketing manager for Levolor-Kirsch Window Fashions, a division of Newell-Rubebrmaid.

"Moller's experience working with national mass merchants and big box retailers as well as specialty and niche custom-oriented retailers will prove valuable as Orian continues to grow," said Sullivan.

 â€œWe believe that adding Moller to our talented sales and design teams will strengthen Orian's position and brand in the global marketplace. Our customers will benefit from her expertise and creativity many times over.”

Moller is a graduate of Florida State University.  She completed a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business.She also holds an Interior Design certificate from the University of North Carolina.

Orian Rugs, founded in 1979,  is a vertically integrated domestic manufacturer of synthetic woven area rugs.  Orian’s yarn production and rug manufacturing are located in a 550,000 sq. ft. facility in Anderson, SC.
