KALATY MAKES NY NOW DEBUT, SHOWCASES POPULAR PRICE POINTS Kalaty introduces NY Now shoppers to its accessible K-Two series, Solstice (SC-055), power-loomed of polypropylene, is among the 14 collections that will be featured.

Kalaty, which will exhibit at booth 2959, will focus on its K-Two collections of 14 "popular priced" collections crafted in a number of weaves. In addition, the Long Island-based rug manufacturer will also feature three hand-knotted accent pillow collections inspired by the company's heirloom rugs.

"This is a new show for us, and we're excited about introducing the NY Now audience to our popularly priced K-Two rug collections and to our growing collections of high-fashion and globally inspired accent pillows. We want attendees at this show to discover Kalaty and our range of products which are carefully designed to appeal to a wide audience both price-wise and style-wise," said Kamran Kalaty, company spokesperson.

In addition to participating in the semi-annual NY Now, Kalaty recently opened permanent showroom at 295 Fifth Ave. and will officially unveil its High Point space this spring. 

THE K-TWO SERIES

Kalaty's Serenty collection, from its K-Two series, is handcrafted in a Lori-Loom weave using a combination of premium wool and Silkette, with a fine loop-and-pile texture. Shown, SE-208

On show at the winter 2019 show will be Kalaty's popularly priced K-Two rug series, which ranges in style from casual contemporary to transitional to traditional. The fourteen K-Two collections are crafted in a number of weaves: hand-tufted, Lori-Loom (hand-loomed) and power-loomed.

The power-loomed Solstice collection, pictured SC-060, is made of 100 percent polypropylene.

These collections are made of either 100 percent premium wool, 100 percent Silkette, a wool-Silkette combination, cotton chenille yarns, or 100 percent polypropylene (for its three power-loomed collections, including the company's first outdoor assortment, Modena). 

Kalaty's Spectra collection, hand-tufted of premium wool, offer a multi-textured tone-on-tone "heathered" style with a loop-weave border. Shown, ST-527

ACCENT PILLOWS

Among the three hand-knotted pillow collections that will be featured at NY Now winter 2019 is Bespoke by Kalaty. Shown, PB-164

Over the past several years, Kalaty has grown its pillow category, which now includes three distinctive hand-knotted pillow collections (Bespoke, Eclectic and Soumack) made of premium wool, a wool-Silkette blend and 100 percent Silkette. All pillows are available in two sizes: 22" x 22" and 14" x 22"

"Our accent pillows collections replicate many of the colors, motifs and patterns found in our most popular handcrafted traditional, transitional and modern rug collections," Kalaty said.
