WINNERS OF AMERICA'S MAGNIFICENT CARPET AWARDS

 Stephen Loloi, center, makes his second trip to the winner's podium. This time for Power-Loomed design in the $200 to $400 retail range.  Hand-made rug winner in the $23 to $35 sq. ft. range was Ebisons Harounian. Brothers Michael and Maurice Harounian accept the award.  Allen Robertson, vice president of sales for Capel, accepts award in the $400 to $1,000 Power-Loom category.  Jay Nehouray of Caravan Rugs accepts award in the $35 to $46 sq. ft. Handmade category.  Joyce Lowe of Nourison accepts award in the $1,000+ Power-Loomed category.  Monika Chaudhry Gupta and husband Tanuj Gupta of Amer Rugs accept award for Hand Made rugs in the $46 to $56 sq. ft. price range.  Michaelian & Kohlberg was the winner of the $56 to $65 sq. ft. Hand Made category. Ali Chaudry accepts the award from AmericasMart execs Kevin Malkiewicz, left, and Chas Sydney.  Baki Ildiz of the Creative Touch accepts award for Hand-Made rug in the iver $65 sq. ft. price range.  Winner of the Best Contemporary rug was Tibet Rug Co. Accepting the award was Jim Weber and Brian Neal.  Buyer's Choice Award is accepted by Roshan Bhattarai of Paramount Nepal, Inc.  All of the entries in the America's Magnificent Carpet Awards were display in the Museum of Introductions on the Fourth Floor of AmericasMart Rug Center.  Winners All: The evening's winners gather for a celebratory picture. But we all know that EVERYONE who came to the Atlanta International Rug Market was a true winner.
