MOHAWK SELECT OPENS ATLANTA MARKET SHOWROOM

ATLANTA -- Mohawk Select is opening its first showroom this week at space 3F1 in AmericasMart Atlanta.

Mohawk Select  is part of Mohawk Home. The  year old brand  serves as a bridge line positioned between higher end Karastan rugs and value-oriented Mohawk Home products.

 The 1,700 sq. ft. space is located within steps of Karastan's showroom. 

Mohawk Select is marketed through Karastan, which has dedicated a rug sales force for this enterprise.

"Mohawk Select is positioned to appeal to the specialty store and furniture retailer,€VbCrLf explained Bill Storey, Karastan's senior vice president and general manager. "The collections in Mohawk Select were exclusively developed for themid-market niche. It offers savvy styling with value pricing. Most  6 x 9 rugs retail  in the $199 to $399 range.€VbCrLf

Included in the Mohawk Select group are contemporary styles, transitional looks and traditional mainstream. Colorful novelty patterns from the Susan Sargent license are also included in the line.
