LOLOI TO DEBUT 8 RUG COLLECTIONS IN VEGAS


Loloi debuts a score of new collections including the hand-knot Transcend (TD-01 in charcoal/peridot shown), crafted from bamboo viscose.

DALLAS -- Loloi is debuting eight new rug collections, running the gamut from hand-braided modern outdoor rugs to traditional Persian styles, during the winter Vegas market from Jan. 24-28 in its showroom B480. In addition, the company will host a book signing with designer Justina Blakeney, author of the New York Times best-selling book, The New Bohemians, on Jan. 26 from 3:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., with the first 100 registered buyers receiving a free signed hardcover.

The featured collections include the hand-loomed Elliot, made in India of 100 percent bamboo viscose, which features subtle patterns and colors such as granite, ink and aqua/slate. 

The new indoor-outdoor Garrett series offers a fresh take on the traditional braided rugs. Hand-braided in China of a polypropylene that is soft to the touch with a sheen, Garrett offers a modern gradient-type look in a range of both vivid and neutral colorways.


The Garrett indoor-outdoor line gives a modern twist to the traditional braided rug. 

The uneven chevron-patterned Gerald features a jacquard weave for a subtle texture. Hand-woven in India of pure jute, the casual, fringed design is offered in uneven, earthy, striated colors. 

The Kingston collection offers a modern interpretation of traditional Persian styles. Power loomed in Turkey of polypropylene and viscose, the rugs feature lustrous colors paired with a distressed design.

Newport, which marries lively colors and expressive patterns, is power loomed in Turkey of 100 percent polypropylene, making it appropriate for the outdoors. The polypropylene fiber is specially treated to withstand damage from rain and sunshine, and is washable by hose.
 

Hand woven in India of hand-spun jute and cotton, Gerald re-interprets the chevron strip in a jacquard weave of striated colors.

Hand knotted in India of pure bamboo viscose, the Reverie collection features subtle patterning hidden within a traditional sumac weave, in soft neutrals and blues. Each piece within this collection evokes a sense of calming elegance. Transcend reworks the tradition of hand-knotted rugs with modern textural patterns. Made in India of 100 percent bamboo viscose, Transcend features graphic patterns in earthy colors.

Finally the vibrant Viola collection features a spray dying technique that creates a tonal fluidity in the pattern. With a soft and knobby pile, Viola is crafted from 100 percent wool yarn, hooked by artisans in India.
