NOURISON HONORED IN TWO CATEGORIES AT 2018 AMERICA'S MAGNIFICENT CARPET AWARDS


Nourison took home the America's Magnificent Carpet Awards in the Licensee category for the Cosmopolite Noir rug in partnership with lifestyle designer Christopher Guy (above).  

SADDLE BROOK, NJ -- Leading floor covering and home accents manufacturer Nourison was honored in two categories at the 2018 America's Magnificent Carpets Awards (AMCA) on January 9th at AmericasMart during The Atlanta International Area Rug Market. 

The annual America's Magnificent Carpets Awards celebrates the latest in rug design across various price points. 
 
Nourison's winning designs include the Cosmopolite Noir rug (CGS21) in partnership with Christopher Guy in the Licensee category, and the Twilight rug (TWI12) in Ivory Grey in the Machine-Made ($400.01+) category.


Nourison's wool and silk Cosmopolite rug in partnership with Christopher Guy won the  America's Magnificent Carpet Award in the Licensee category for 2018. 

The Cosmopolite Noir (CGS21) wool and silk rug is a burst of excitement, as piercing white silk layers with deep noir create a three dimensional effect. This rug is part of the new Christopher Guy area rug collection, which made a successful debut in October 2017. This Christopher Guy collection of handmade area rugs has been very well received from both designers and customers and continues to drive momentum with unique rug designs. 



Nourison wins the America's Magnificent Carpet Award for its lustrous Twilight collection rug in platinum. 



The hand washed and hand finished Twilight rug (TWI12) in a spectrum of neutrals, expands from the nucleus of rich platinum tones into an effusion of lustrous taupe rays on a soft ivory ground. Twilight is one of Nourison's best-selling collections, with TWI12 ranked as one of the top styles. 


Sam Azhadi, director of international and promotional sales at Nourison, accepts the company's two award presented by Kevin Malkiewicz of AmericasMart at a celebration cocktail party on Jan. 9.
