AMICI  OPENS IN AUSTRALIA; 
ADDS DUTIES FOR DIADAMO

WESTFIELD, NJ – Amici International, the overseas operation of Amici Imports has opened a showroom in Melbourne, Australia, according to Jeff DeSantis, president. 

In addition, Eva Diadamo, senior vice president of merchandising and design for Amici imports USA has been named a partner in the Amici International operation. She will be responsible for all product development and merchandising for new and existing showrooms.

"We are very proud to be entering this great market, we have been doing business in Australia the last few years and look forward to continuing our aggressive growth strategy by opening more showrooms in the upcoming year," said DeSantis.

The Melbourne showroom is the fourth for Amicia International. Showroom manager will be Sunny Pawan.

To celebrate the opening, Amici will be showcasing a number of unique Australian aboriginal designs in the company’s Americasmart showroom 6-F-11 during the Atlanta International  Rug Market featuring the National Oriental Rug Show, January 7 to 10.

Amici Imports has also launched its new website, www.amiciimports.com. The site was designed as a virtual walk-through of an Amici showroom.
