Oscar Isberian Rugs Welcomes Fourth Generation into Fold

Oscar Isbarian Rugs' third generation of brothers, Oscar Tatosian and Sarkis Tatosian, bring Sarkis' son Marty Tatosian into the family business.

CHICAGO -- Renowned Chicago area fine rug retailer Oscar Isberian Rugs welcomes the fourth generation on board with Marty Tatosian, joining his father Sarkis, and uncle Oscar, to help run the family business. 

"We are thrilled to announce that Marty, Sarkis’ son, has joined Oscar Isberian Rugs. Marty is a CPA and graduated from Marquette University with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting. He worked at Ernst & Young for two years before joining the family business," the company stated in an announcement.

"We are certain he will continue the 100 years plus tradition of providing the finest rugs, carpet and service."

Oscar Isberian Rugs, which was founded in 1920 by Oscar Isberian, operates to showrooms, one in Chicago and a second in nearby Evanston. Brothers Oscar and Sarkis Tatosian are the fine rug retailer's third generation, with more than 30 years in the business.
