HIGH POINT, N.C. – Capel's Las Vegas showroom will feature the company's latest rug introductions in styles and weaves that are proving winners for the company at summer Las Vegas Market, July 26-30, 2026.
"We have had a few bright spots and designers pulling us through with good sales on projects they have been working on," Cameron Capel told RugNews.com, noting that home furnishings sales are being impacted by the unpredictable economic market, slower summer shopping season and rising gas prices. "While summer is also a slow time, with families on vacation; their time and money are elsewhere. The fall will bring them back “home,” where, they will feel the need to spruce up their rooms with something new!"
For the company it's mid-priced hand-knotteds are performing well, and Capel continues to invest in that category, she said, adding that "our Avanti collection, a very well-priced, quality tufted product, continues to be a shining star."
Las Vegas Market attendees can stop in Capel's A133 space and be the first to explore its newest addition to its immensely popular domestically manufactured braided rugs with the introduction of Westerly. This lineup addresses the demand for elevated modern farmhouse rug options. Other trends buyers will be able to review include bold, colorful, statement making Moroccan designs and abstracts. A range of hand-crafted all natural designs will be on show in looks from understated neutral geometrics to classic updated Persian floral patterns.
