LR RESOURCES STEPS UP HAND-KNOTTEDS, GROWS NATURALS COLLECTION
 LR Resources' hand-knotted Kareena collection of Indo Oushaks will be expanded with new designs in Atlanta and Las Vegas.

DALTON, Ga. -- LR Resources is gearing up for summer markets with a broad range of new collections designed to hit key price points, and the company expects new designs in the hand loomed Naturals collections to once again top market shoppers' must-see lists at its Atlanta and Las Vegas showrooms.
"Naturals are our strength; our bread and butter," Mike Thompson, vice president of sales and general manager, LR Resources told RugNews.com. We started with three designs three years ago, and have continued to stay ahead of the curve on styling in the category." The collection, which currently stands at 35 designs, will be increased with six new introductions at the Atlanta International Rug Market.

"Our Naturals are interwoven with jute and other natural fibers. The combined design and color options, and the variety of weaves give our retailers a custom look that's considerably less expensive than a custom natural fiber program. I don't think anyone else has the expanse of designs we offer," Thompson said, adding that the rugs were designed to retail at $299 in 5x8. "A lot of value has been designed into them, and we've been able to hold that price."
MARKET PROMOTION ON NEW NATURALS DISPLAY
In Atlanta and Las Vegas, LR Resources will also introduce a new Naturals free-standing tower display with corner samples for a package price of $299 for the rack with samples. A special promotion offers the rack free if a customer buys a set of samples for $79 at the upcoming summer markets. The new tower display holds 20 samples (18"x18") with space below for extras.
BEST-SELLING OUSHAK COLLECTION
The success of the Indo Oushak Kareena range (shown above) has led to development of new hand-knotted programs at LR Resources.
Launched at January 2016 markets, the Kareena collection of hand-knotted Indo Oushak rugs by LR Resources became an instant best seller. The line was expanded at High Point market and Thompson said the company will be previewing more hand-knotteds looks in Atlanta to decide whether to step up another notch or two in higher price points in the category.
NEW SOFT SHAG COLLECTION
At summer markets LR Resources is also introducing a new machine made polypropylene Soft Shag collection with tailored patterns in six or seven designs, which will retail at $199 to $249 in 5x8.
