SPRING AIR MATTRESS COMPANY TO
OPEN  ON AMERICASMART RUG FLOOR

ATLANTA -- The Spring Air Mattress Co and sister company Nature's Rest will open a 3,000 sq. ft. showroom at AmericasMart in space 5-F-1 of Building One. According to AmericasMart management, the move represents an evolution and expansion of the Mart's Home product division.

“As floors 3 to 6 in Building 1—the destination for everything HOME—evolve, we are staying ahead of the game and focusing and expanding on complementary home products in the Area Rug product center,” said  Chas Sydney, senior vice president of Area Rugs for AmericasMart.
 

“With its strength, buyer loyalty and industry-wide recognition, Spring Air Mattress is the ideal fit to help pioneer this new category for AmericasMart.”

Spring Air will celebrate its 85th anniversary in 2011. Nature's Rest specializes in latex beds and accessories. The company is returning to AmericasMart after an absence of 20 years.

 â€œMany of the buyers for larger regional, national and big box companies come to this Market, and these same buyers also make the purchasing decisions on mattresses for their companies,” said  Wes Price, president of Spring Air South.

Spring Air will launch its new showroom with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the January Atlanta International Area Rug Market, taking place January 13-16, 2011.

 â€œWe want to bring bedding back to Atlanta, and the best vehicle for this is to show at AmericasMart, which is the most central location for the Eastern half of the U.S.”

In its new Atlanta showroom, Spring Air and Natures’ Rest will showcase mattresses and specialty sleep products, as well as Chattam & Wells luxury bedding and the BedBoss collection of memory foam beds from a three-bed collection of USA-Made memory foam beds and Leggett and Platt adjustable beds.

Spring Air will launch its new showroom with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the January Atlanta International Area Rug Market  January 13 to16, 2011.
