WASHINGTON, DC -- Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 29 for Harold M. Keshishian, who died July 23, 2010. Mr. Keshishian was a long-time principal of Mark Keshishian & Sons, Chevy Chase, MD.
Mark Keshishian & Sons was opened in 1931 by Mark Keshishian. Upon his death in 1985, the business was taken over by Harold Keshishian and his brother, James, who died in 2003.
Harold Keshishian's nephew, Mark Samson Keshishian , is the third generation to run the family business.

Mr. Keshishian, who was also a Certified Rug Appraiser, was 81 years old. Cause of death was cancer.
Friends may call Wednesday, July 28 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Joseph Gawlers Sons, Inc., 5130 Wisconsin Ave., NW (Harrison St.), Washington, DC.
Services will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, 13801 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring, MD on Thursday, July 29 at 1 p.m. Interment will be private.
Mr. Keshishian is survived by his wife, Melissa McGee Keshishian; children Kirk, Jocelyn, Christopher and Elizabeth (Tyler); brother John Keshishian; nephew Mark Samson Keshishian and numerous other nieces and nephews.
