KAS TO UNVEIL LICENSED RUGS BY ICONIC CALIFORNIA LIFESTYLE BRAND 'HANG TEN'

SOMERSET, N.J. -- KAS Rugs announces a licensing partnership with free-spirited coastal lifestyle brand, Hang Ten, with three collections of rugs debuting at summer markets in Atlanta and Las Vegas.
"We are incredibly excited to launch Hang Ten rugs after an exciting product development Process," said Santhi Yarlagadda, vice president, KAS. "Hang Ten adds a new branding twist to our licensing mix and reaches an untapped customer base for KAS. Founded in 1960 in California, Hang Ten and its signature footprint logo are currently licensed in apparel, swimwear, sunglasses, footwear, outdoor recreational products and most recently in fashion bedding. Via Jewel Branding, Hang Ten continues to seek expansion of its portfolio of surf and sun lifestyle designs into a variety of home categories, including rugs, home decor accessories, furniture and tabletop.
With over 2,000 retail partners worldwide and over a billion dollars in retail sales, Hang Ten continues to expand the brand's footprint extensively and has reached global success in many countries including: United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, China, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, South Africa and more.
In the top of bed category, Hang Ten products are found at a diverse range of retailers and e-commerce sites from Bed, Bath & Beyond to Nordstrom, Kohl's and Hayneedle. Hang Ten rugs can be found this summer at Bed, Bath & Beyond, Hayneedle and Wayfair to kick off the launch.

HANG TEN MALIBU COLLECTION

Malibu offers hand-woven chunky rugs constructed of easy to clean polyester that can evoke a California lifestyle or a bohemian vibe. A trendy color palette and corner tassels enhance this textural collection, and an assortment of six designs are offered in four sizes to kick off this look.
HANG TEN PALM BEACH COLLECTION
Above and below, Navy Horizons from the Hang Ten Palm Beach collection by KAS will debut at summer 2018 markets.
Natural hand-woven jute rugs in the Hang Ten Palm Beach collection are presented in two looks: a chunky solid weave, and a smoother version with stripes. These natural, rustic rugs bring a stylish neutral element to any space, in keeping with the organic beach vibe of the Hang Ten brand. Available in four sizes, the initial assortment consists of six trend-colored rugs.
HANG TEN SUNSET BEACH COLLECTION

The Hang Ten Sunset Beach collection represents a Boho free-spirited look with ultra-soft, hand-woven flatweaves in natural jute and sari silk. The lightweight rugs have a very low 1/8-inch pile height, and come in five sizes, from a 27"x 45" scatter size up to 8'6" x 11'6".
Hang Ten joins KAS' licensing portfolio of lifestyle brands, which also includes Libby Langdon and Bob Mackie Home.
