New Nourison showroom at 295 Fifth Ave. will have prominent frontage on New York's Fifth Ave. The three-level space measures over 10,000 sq. ft.

SADDLE BROOK, NJ -- Nourison Industries, Inc, has  signed a lease for a new 10,000 + sq. ft., three-level showroom at 295 Fifth Ave. in New York City.

Nourison's new Fifth Avenue showroom will open March, 2011 and be permanently staffed for appointments, walk-ins and market events.  The showroom is not open to the public.

The new showroom includes a ground floor space with frontage on Fifth Ave. It will showcase Nourison's home accent and area rug programs for national accounts, according to the company. Nourison has previously had a smaller showroom at 295 Fifth Ave.
 
“The success and growth of our home scatter and seasonal accent rugs led to our decision to expand to a larger showroom that is better suited to servicing our important national retailers,” said Alex Peykar, president.of Nourison.   

The new showroom will also be home to Nourison’s Hospitality, Custom Area Rug, and decorative pillow divisions, as well as the company’s  brand portfolio.

Nourison’s core rug programs including all of its signature area rug and broadloom products will continue to be shown at the company’s world headquarters in Saddle Brook, NJ and its showrooms in Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Zurich.
 
  â€œWe intend to continue to lead the industry in color, design and innovative construction, and will now showcase our products and programs from one of the world’s most prestigious addresses,” said Peykar.
 
295 Fifth Ave is known as The Textile Buiding. It is home to many rug resources and home fashions manufacturers.,
According to Nourison, the  new Fifth Avenue location will offer greater visibility and convenience for buyers based in Manhattan or visiting from all over the world.
