KALEEN TO EXHIBIT AT
7 W NEW YORK THIS FALL
DALTON, GA. -- Kaleen Rugs will participate in New York market week this September with the opening of a temporary showroom, space 614, at 7 W New York.
The announcement was made by Su Hilty, vice president of marketing for 7 W and Joe Barkley, executive vice president of Kaleen. The New York Fall Home Fashions Market is scheduled for Sept. 13 to 17.
“Since this is our first venture into the NY Textile Market, we wanted to be in the best possible situation. We believe 7 West is that venue,†said Barkley. Barkley added that there is a possibility of expanding into a permanent space at 7 W in the future.
Kaleen manufactures and imports hand made and machine made rugs. Kaleen is based in Dalton, GA. and has international headquarters in India.
United Weavers of America is also showing in temporary space at 7W this Fall, in showroom 525.
Several market events are taking place during New York Market Week Sept. 12 to 16. The shows include the New York International Carpet Show, Metro Market Week, the ORICA Fall Market and the New York Home Fashions Market (previously known as Home Textiles Market Week).
