DALTON, GA. -- Andy Brumlow has been promoted to vice president of product development for Oriental Weavers USA, according to Mike Riley, president.
In his new post, he will be responsible for the development of both rugs and broadloom products.
Brumlow joined Oriental Weavers in January 2008 as vice president of the company's broadloom division. Oriental Weavers began US production of woven broadloom carpeting in mid-2008.
Oriental Weavers manufactures broadloom carpet and rug in Dalton, GA., and Cairo, Egypt. Oriental Weavers USA also imports handmade rugs from India and China.
Before joining Oriental Weavers, Brumlow served as director of merchandising for carpets and rugs for Carpets of Dalton, the furniture and floor covering retailer headquartered in Dalton, GA.
Founded in 1991, Dalton-based Oriental Weavers USA, Inc. is a division of Oriental Weavers Group, a multi-national collection of companies formed in the 1970s that is headquartered in Cairo, Egypt.
Oriental Weavers USA, Inc. markets floor covering under the Sphinx by Oriental Weavers and Oriental Weavers of America brands.
