ATLANTA -- Trans-Ocean adds fresh designs to some of its most popular area rug collections for summer shoppers and adds a second space for the first Casual Market Atlanta, running alongside Atlanta Market, July 10-13, 2023.
The shows, both co-located within AmericasMart, prompted Trans-Ocean Imports to take a second temporary space for Casual Market in Building 1 (7-517), in addition to its Building 2 booth, 2-117. In Las Vegas, designs can be viewed at World Market Center, C-475.
"Both shows [Atlanta and Casual markets] are traditionally very busy for us," said New York designer Liora Manne, who leads Trans-Ocean's design team. "Our customers [at those shows] are primarily walk ins. And we are hoping and expecting to be very busy."
The summer introductions showcase indoor designs plus plenty of outdoor and performance options as well.
ARIANA COLLECTION
Ikat Square expands the indoor Ariana lineup and features a checkerboard inspired motif.
The Ariana collection designed by Liora Manné gets a new design called Ikat Square, which is power-loomed in Egypt of 100 percent polypropylene. A modern take on the traditional ikat weave, the Ikat Square rugs create intricate designs featuring deep, rich color while maintaining exceptional durability. The material is soft underfoot and made of low-profile, durable polypropylene. Ariana patterns are offered in an eclectic mix of styles ranging from contemporary to traditional and transitional designs. The hand-tufted Capri collection adds the new in-out Hex design, shown in neutral, crafted from a soft polyester-acrylic blend.
Capri collection, one of Trans-Ocean's top indoor-outdoor lineups, debuts the transitional Capri Hex rug. It features a multi-line graphic design in ivory on a sand background. The geometric global design is made in China from a polyester acrylic blend. The Capri collection is hand-tufted to create colorful multi-toned detailed designs with a high-quality finish. The soft, durable material is flatwoven, UV stabilized, easy-care, weather resistant and treated for added fade resistant. making this the perfect rug for indoor or outdoor placement. CARMEL COLLECTION
Trans-Ocean expands its performance Carmel collection adding Eiffel, an indoor-outdoor multi-toned piece.
The Eiffel design is added to the flatweave performance driven Carmel assortment. With its irregular criss-crossings, the design of Carmel Eiffel is reminiscent of the lattice-like wrought iron structures of 19th Paris. Made in Turkey from 87 percent polypropylene/13 percent polyester, the Carmel Collection is power-loomed to create subtle multi-toned detailed designs with a high-quality finish. The material, which is fade resistant, durable, UV stabilized is ideal for high traffic areas including patios and decks. Carmel patterns range from tropical, nature, coastal, contemporary and classic to seamlessly tie together the design of any home.
