ATLANTA – LR Home unveiled its largest-ever showroom at AmericasMart at July summer markets here to accommodate the company’s growing collection of cross-category home furnishings products, including area rugs, furniture, home accents, and a range of textile offerings from decorative pillows and poufs to throws, table linens and bed fashions.

An expansive display of area rugs is a highlight of the new LR Home showroom in Atlanta’s AmericasMart.

The company returned to Building One of AmericasMart in a 2,000-square-foot showroom that’s more than double the size of its previous showroom in Building 2. “We wanted a bigger space, and Building One is where a lot of the furniture, rugs, and accessories vendors are,” says Vinamra Laddha, COO. In the new showroom, “we are able to merchandise everything together, which makes a big difference.”

The company welcomed buyers shopping both Atlanta Market and Casual Market to the new space, which is designed with special sections dedicated to area rugs, as well as pillows and other textile categories. Furniture and accents are displayed throughout.
“Traffic has been good,” reported Vinamra Laddha, COO of LR Home. “Overall, [the Casual Market] should make a positive impact and with the consolidation of the markets, we should see more people coming through.”

The dramatic Maples collection in wool and jute features a raised pattern over a flatweave base.

The Maples collection was a hit with market shoppers. The woven jute and wool rugs have a textural, raised pattern over a flatweave background. Another highlight in the showroom was LR Home’s Geoblend collection of jute and wool. These rugs have a clean, contemporary look with a fringe and neutral colorways.

Aria collection rugs are prominently displayed in windows at the new LR Home Atlanta showroom.

Laddha said the company is also excited about its Aria collection. These rugs have a transitional look, with faded medallions and borders, and a very short pile. Finally, the Belize rugs, with bold colors and an oversized floral pattern, are reversible outdoor rugs, with a tapestry look.

LR Home has come a long way as an AmericasMart exhibitor, beginning in the temporary showrooms with hand-crafted rugs and textiles in natural fibers targeting gift and home accent buyers. Two years ago, the company moved into its first permanent space in Building 2.
