KARASTAN SHOWCASES SCOTT BROTHERS NEW STYLES IN EXPANDED VEGAS SPACE
Karastan officially unveiled its new Scott Living collection, and its newly expanded showroom on Monday night with the Scott brothers playfully posing for fans eager to see their latest designs.

LAS VEGAS -- Karastan is showcasing woven debuts in on-point colors and a combination of innovative and durable fibers in its newly expanded showroom C-312 at the Las Vegas Market.
In 2019, Karastan presents 20 new styles in its Scott Living collections: Artisan and Expressions (10 new styles per collection). To celebrate, designers Drew and Jonathan Scott made a special appearance on Monday, Jan. 28, at 3:30 p.m. to discuss the new designs in the Scott Living line, and to meet and greet with retailers. The brothers' appearance did not disappoint fans who filled the showroom to snap photos of them posing with the new rugs.
Designed with Karastan's exclusive EverStrand recycled polyester yarn, the Expressions collection is casual, modern and sumptuously soft. The Artisan Collection is luxurious in feel and creative in look; Artisan rugs are crafted of Karastan's exclusive SmartStrand Silk yarn for incredible comfort and built-in stain and soil resistance that will never wear or wash off.
Introducing Zanzibar and Mosaic
Also being introduced at the Las Vegas Market are two new Karastan collections: Zanzibar and Mosaic. In Zanzibar, Karastan brings together SmartStrand and New Zealand wool in a woven collection featuring traditional patterns and stunning jewel tones. By combining industry-changing SmartStrand with wool, a longtime favorite, Karastan achieves remarkably durable rugs with sophisticated style. The matte finish of New Zealand wool is contrasted with the silky sheen of SmartStrand Silk to create a riot of textures, hand-feel and surface variation.
Karastan's new Mosaic collection also is woven of a combination of fibers -- SmartStrand and EverStrand -- that are not only some of Karastan's best-selling fibers but also offer consumers a sustainable choice in beautiful rugs. Karastan designers have included hints of a reflex yarn in Mosaic rugs to allow for carved details and a high-low pile. Featuring 56 shades of color, Mosaic is a decorator's dream. Both durable and soft, SmartStrand, which is made partially of renewable resources, and EverStrand, produced from recycled plastic bottles, are excellent choices for families seeking environmentally friendly options.
Showroom Changes
In addition to expanding the Las Vegas showroom, Karastan also is enlarging its showroom in High Point (read full story). It has moved its Atlanta showroom to the Mohawk Home office in Sugar Valley, Georgia, approximately an hour north of AmericasMart in Atlanta. The showroom exhibits the full Mohawk and Karastan product lines and will allow Karastan to offer personal, one-on-one meetings with its customers and conduct product reviews year-round. The address is 3032 Sugar Valley Road NW and is open by appointment only.
