VALLEY, GA - American Rug Craftsmen will introduce Berkshire, a new
super-plush shag collection at the Atlanta International Rug Market in
July. The collection's 11 contemporary designs are colored in a palette
of soft neutrals accented with sun-washed hues. Berkshire rugs are woven
in .9-inch pile height on Van De Weile looms of EverStrand recycled
polyester fiber that utilizes the highest-grade plastic from recycled
beverage bottles. The retail price for a 5x8 Berkshire rug is $278.

With a
range of designs from abstracts and transitionals to geometrics and
florals, Berkshire is styled for the modern home. The Collection
includes Billerica, a tribal stripe in tones of blue and grey; Brewster,
a modern Egyptian stairstep geometric available in blue and grey.
Chatham, an artistic crosspatch available in coral and grey;
Chilmark Blue, an abstract skyscape; Cohasset Grey, an ancient
cobblestone look with a modern twist; Hadley Multi, a lighthearted
paisley floral in fashion shades; Rowley Multi, an artsy trellis with
sun-washed color on grey ground; Paxton, a modern floral with a
time-worn heirloom effect available in blue and coral; Vernon Multi,
motif of Suzani medallions framed in vines; Truro Grey, an abstract
watercolor and Wendall Blue, an artistic abstraction.
American Rug Craftsmen shows at Atlanta Rug Market at AmericasMart 3-A-1
and at World Market Center C-312 at Las Vegas Market.
