ORIENTALIST HOME TAKES PERMANENT SHOWROOM FOR ATLANTA MARKET


Orientalist Home's Gady Yesilcay said Atlanta Market, which the company debuted at in 2016, is an important location for the rug vendor to have a permanent presence.


ATLANTA -- Long Island, N.Y.-based Orientalist Home opens a permanent showroom (Building 1, Third Floor, D18) at the upcoming  Atlanta International Area Rug Market, held from Jan. 11-17, 2017 after participating for the first time during the winter 2016 edition.

"We were at Temporaries last year," said Gady Yesilcay, owner, Orientalist Home, noting that the company will now have 1,200 square feet to showcase its assortment of rugs, pillows and textiles sourced from Turkey, Morocco and Central Asia.. "Atlanta is an important market for the industry and we think we must exhibit there now.


"We always wanted to establish a fixed location. It's easier for our clients to remember the location and it is more convenient for me as well."



Orientalist Home showcases its growing assortment of Moroccans, such as this Beni Ourain rug, at Atlanta Market 2017.

Orientalist Home continues to add to its assortment of stonewashed vintage rugs, with a soft hand in a palette of delicate pastels and whites.


Orientalist Home offers a range of Silk Velvet Ikat patterned pillows made from hand-dyed silk, loomed in Central Asia, and hand-sewn in Turkey.
