LILI ALESSANDRA INTRODUCES 2020 RUG COLLECTION AT ATLANTA MARKET

The new Natural Elements rug collection by Lili Alessandra features textural designs accented with Lurex in silver or gold for the brand's signature touch of glamour.

ATLANTA -- Lili Alessandra, a San Antonio, Texas-based fine linen and soft furnishings manufacturer, unveils its 2020 area rug collection at the Codarus multi-line showroom, 15-A-1, this week at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market.

Known for high-end quality and lavish embellishments in bed fashions, decorative pillows and throws, the company introduced an inaugural rug collection of 21 designs at the spring 2018 High Point Market.

Rounding out the initial high-glamor collection the new rug collection called Natural Elements offers a relaxed casual vibe with an organic modern feel that is achieved with the mixture of wool, cotton and Lurex that coordinates back to the company's bedding fabrics and colors.  The use of silver or gold Lurex represents the brand's signature touch of glam in the new designs.

"Rugs are woven art for the floor. It felt like a natural transition to me. I liked the idea of taking our designs and ideas to another textile -- something a little bit more durable, if you will," said Lili Alessandra president, Sandra Hernandez Yedor.

The Natural Element collection from Lili Alessandra is hand-loomed in India.

Natural Elements rugs are available in the following sizes: 2x3, 6x9, 8x10, 9x12 and 10x14. All are hand-loomed in India, and can be custom-made to any size for delivery in six months. MSRP is $1,890 in 6x9.

Designs crafted of wool, viscose, cotton and Lurex include Diana, James, and Mia.  Sarah is woven from wool, cotton and Lurex.  Milley is made from wool and Lurex, and the Lulu and Nina designs are woven of wool, viscose and polyester.
