DESIGN MIAMI SHOWCASES RUSSIA'S TAPIS ROUGE

MIAMI -- Design Miami, which will take place from Dec. 5-9 in Miami's Design District, has announced that Moscow-based fine rugs atelier Tapis Rouge will be present as one of its sponsor partners.

The Russian rug atelier reports that it has created its finest rug ever for the highly demanding show audience. The piece will combine 30 different shades of blue and continuous play with different heights of pile.

Tapis Rouge specializes in bespoke projects for private residences and custom orders. A team of architects, designers, artists, and color specialists create unique pieces of art and design in collaboration with interior professionals. All carpets are hand-knotted in Nepal with the use of sophisticated techniques and texture combinations.

Tapis Rouge clients include Russia's top architects and designers; the studio has been chosen to create projects for Moscow's State Historical Museum and the Kremlin Armory's Diamond Fund.
