THE INTERNATIONAL SURFACES EVENT TO INTRODUCE
BOOTH CRAWL CHALLENGE AT TISE 2015

DALLAS, TX - Informa Exhibitions will host the TISE Booth Crawl Challenge, a new show promotion that will make its debut at The International Surface Event 2015, held January 20 to 23 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

The Booth Crawl Challenge will provide attendees with a fun way to explore the expansive show floor which covers 350,000 sq. ft. in five halls, by visiting participating exhibitors and show features along the way.  The first 500 attendees who complete the Booth Crawl Challenge using either a play card or the mobile app will receive a commemorative TISE 2015 t-shirt.

Attendees can participate by picking up a play card available at Registration on Level 1 or by downloading the free TISE mobile app which is available for iPhone, Android and Blackberry users and is sponsored by FCA Network.  The TISE mobile app can be found by searching International Surface Event in the Apple App Store, Google Play, or Blackberry World.

The Booth Crawl Challenge participants include American Express (B-2308), Bellota (B-2515), Houzz (B-2839), Kane Carpets (S-6741), Marble Institute of America (B-848), Marmomacc Stone Academy (B-964), MoldingsOnline.com (B-2361), National Tile Contractors Association (B-3825), Product Marketplace (Bayside Lobby, Level  1), Snap N Share Studio (B-2844), Wagner Meters (B-3366) and World Floor Covering Association (S-6682).

Attendees who visit all eleven stops and get their card stamped or mobile app validated are required to drop off their completed card or show proof on completion on the mobile app in the Show Office on Level 3 to receive their commemorative t-shirt.

"We have seen consistent increases in use of the TISE mobile app since introducing it in 2013.  The industry demand is clearly there and the technology keeps getting more sophisticated and user-friendly," said Amie Gilmore, CEM, director of The International Surface Event.  "It's a functional tool for maximizing the show floor experience, from searching for exhibitor locations on the show floor, to mapping the quickest route to get from one point to another and helping to easily schedule time at the show, it's an additional service we can offer attendees to make their show experience even more productive."

In addition to the Booth Crawl Challenge, other mobile app features include a calendar, show hours, floor plan, easy access to the master education schedule including the schedule of show floor tours and demos taking place each day, events schedule and quick connection to social media accounts. Additionally users can access their hotel reservations and information on local restaurants, entertainment and attractions in Las Vegas.
