AMER RUGS TO OPEN LAS VEGAS SHOWROOM AT SUMMER MARKET

ATLANTA – Amer Rugs will open its first permanent Las Vegas showroom at World Market Center building B, suite 421. The showroom is approximately 2,500 sq. ft.

Amer’s Las Vegas opening will be celebrated July 27 to 31, 2014 with door prizes, food, as well as a complete display of the company's award-winning line of rugs. 

 â€œCustomer convenience was the primary reason we chose suite 421, being in an area with other existing rug manufacturers and wholesalers. We didn’t like the idea of customers having to walk from building to building in search of rugs,” said Tanuj Gupta, Amer president.

Gupta said he is planning additional levels of service for the West Coast.  “Amer has been underrepresented in the Western United States for far too long, and we have dedicated clientele that we want to serve better.  A space in Las Vegas makes total sense for our product line and offers buyers even greater flexibility,”  he said.

Amer’s new Las Vegas showroom is the third  showroom expansion for the rug manufacturer in the last 18 months.  A larger space was opened in Atlanta in January 2013, and in High Point's Showplace in October 2013.  

Amer also has plans for future expansion, with New York and Dallas still distinct possibilities, according to Gupta.  

Amer is a vertically integrated design and manufacturing rug company based in Atlanta, guided by husband-wife team Tanuj and Monika Gupta.

·      Amer’s 2012 catalog received the Award of Excellence in both the Catalog and Photography categories for its 2012 catalog presented by the Communicator Awards. The catalog also received awards in catalog design and photography presented by Graphic Design USA.
