STEPHEN HOBERMAN JOINS TRANS-OCEAN AS VP OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

WHITE PLAINS, NY-- Home Furnishings manufacturer Trans-Ocean announced the appointment of Stephen Hoberman to the newly created position of vice president of business development.
In his new role, Hoberman will be responsible for development of major partnerships with both key suppliers and customers. The move comes as Trans-Ocean continues to expand its line of Liora Manne designed rugs, mats and pillows.
Hoberman began his career at Trans-Ocean 15 years ago and returns after serving at several executive positions within the industry, most recently as the vice president of sales at Momeni, a position he held for the past three years. "Stephen has spent the last decade as a respected leader in the industry and we are pleased to welcome him back to where he started," stated Charles Peck, president, Trans-Ocean.
Trans-Ocean is an importer and manufacturer of fine area rugs and home accessories. Together with renowned designer, Liora Manne, Trans-Ocean supplies fine retailers, designers and catalogs in the US. They have showrooms in New York, High Point and Las Vegas.
