VONDOM PRESENTS ITS ARTFUL SIDE WITH NEW MIAMI SHOWROOM OPENING

MIAMI -- Spanish designer home furnishings brand Vondom will hold a grand opening celebration for its first Miami showroom, which is located on North Miami Avenue in the Wynwood Art District. The Wynwood showroom is the second Vondom opened in the U.S. this year, with its West Hollywood, California debuting in September 2016.
Timed to coordinate with the Art Basel Miami and Design Miami, a highlight of the opening event will be the Miami WallArt Project, a large mural painted on the showroom's façade during the fair. Vondom held a contest to select the mural's artist, with Spanish architectural firm Ramon Esteve Estudio of Valencia responsible for the artistic direction of the contest as well as the interior design of the Miami showroom. Winner of the competition was multi-disciplinary artist Okuda San Miguel who began his career as a street artist in his home town of Santander, Spain.
Madrid artist Okuda San Miguel is the winner of Vondom's Miami WallArt Project and will paint a mural on Vondom's inaugural Miami showroom at Art Basel Miami.
Vondom offers a portfolio of indoor and outdoor rugs along with its furniture, lighting and other accessories. Among the best known designers of its rug collections are Javier Mariscal, Karim Rashid and Agatha Ruiz de la Prada.
In addition to Ramon Esteve and artist Okuda San Miguel of Madrid, Catalan industrial designer Eugeni Quitllet will attend the grand opening event on December 1.
The epicenter of street art in Miami, the Wynwood Art District is the new home of Spanish furniture brand Vondom's flagship store.
