LAUNCHES SALES REPRESENTATION IN EUROPE

PARIS -- New York designer Liora Manné brings her patented Lamontage process and newest selection of  custom rugs, wall coverings, and textiles to Maison & Objet's 'Signature: Forever' sector, Hall 7, Stand B39, running Sept.6 - Sept.10.

"This is our first time at Maison & Object, and we're all very excited about it," Manné told RugNews.com. "Our product is right for Europe, and Maison is the right place to show," she continued, noting, "The timing is perfect for the launch of our representation in Europe."

Asked about the company's expansion internationally, Manné explained that the potential outside the U.S. for Lamontage had become evident with growing specification for installations overseas by U.S.-based designers. "The world is small now; interior designers work internationally, and representation of Lamontage in Europe is a natural progression."

Debuting at M&O, Liora Manne's showcases its custom Lamontage capabilities at its Hall 7 stand.

Liora Manné makes her M&O premiere in the much-hyped Hall 7, which was reformatted in January 2019, and now totally dedicated to contract & hospitality.  The show's new focus on designers seeking innovative tailor-made solutions for private homes or public development and hotel projects further impacted her decision to exhibit.

With a portfolio of international hospitality installations, Liora Manne premieres at Maison & Objet, and announces sales representation in Europe. Shown, a Lamontage hotel lobby rug.

"We are very pleased with our location, and Maison's outreach to architects, interior designers, and to specifiers for hotels, and restaurants and real estate projects."

Bringing innovative design and artistic handmade textiles to the business for nearly 30 years, Liora Manné offers a customizable line of tufted rugs in wool, wool and viscose, and silk in the LUSH collection -- in addition to Lamontage custom needle-punched textile solutions for floor, ceiling and wall coverings as well as art, acoustical panels, upholstery, and pillows.

Liora Manne will introduce Maison et Objet shoppers to the Canvas: Kenya Collection made from jute with the Lamontage technique into custom wall coverings, pillows, and floor cloths.

In the patented Lamontage process, polyester fibers are intricately cut, blended and layered by hand, then mechanically interlocked by needle-punching. Manné's New York-based design studio develops new patterns daily for custom commercial and residential projects. The highly-durable design solutions are specified for museums, schools, hotels, restaurants, corporate offices, and for homes globally.

M&O TARGETS CONTRACT/HOSPITALITY

At this September's fair, 36 percent of show visitors will be specifiers looking for tailor-made solutions for condominiums, resorts, boutique hotels, and yachting.

There is also great excitement at the announcement that renowned hospitality designer Laura Gonzalez is the winner of  M&O's Designer of the Year Award and featured artist at the September edition of the show.  She has designed Café Signature at the entrance of Hall 7 especially for the event. Visitors can immerse themselves in the world of Laura Gonzalez's furniture in the Café's interior, while savoring a selection of dishes and pastries devised by Pierre Hermé.

At 37, architect Laura Gonzalez is already well known for installations across Paris, and for the past two years has been working overseas, stamping her reworked classical style on a whole host of restaurants, bars, hotels and stores.  Among her noteworthy projects in Paris are Lapérouse, Hotel Christine, the Brasserie La Lorraine, as well as Cartier stores in Paris, Stockholm and Zurich.
