LR RESOURCES EXPANDS NATURALS COLLECTIONS; ADDS VALUE-DRIVEN

Distressed Naturals collection by LR Resources will be
featured at High Point Market as part of an expanded
natural fiber program.

HIGH
POINT, NC - LR Resources has expanded its offerings with two distinctive
programs to be introduced at the upcoming High Point Market, according
to Mike Thompson, sales vice president - general manager, LR Resources.
The
Dalton, GA-based company, which has permanent space at Showplace, 3451
in High Point, will introduce an expanded Naturals concept with
additions to the collections of jute and chenille interwoven designs, as
well as heavier 100% jute collections. "LR Resources was on the cutting
edge of this concept a little over three years ago with the introduction
of the first three Naturals collection area rugs offered in 5'x7'9" and
8x10 with a cotton secondary backing for stability of design. The
Naturals collection is our franchise," Thompson explained.
At High
Point, buyers will see the company's Naturals line extended to over 20
design and color combinations. In addition, the Elite collection, which
uses the same construction concepts and was introduced last year, will
now be available in an exciting distressed look and a new woven designs.

The new Pewter coloration complements the sophisticated bulky
weave of the Elite collection of 100% Jute (face fiber) from LR
Resources.

The
second major expansion is in the hand knotted arena. "LR is stepping
into the world of hand knots that are as economical as they are
versatile," Thompson said, adding that "the palette for the company's
rugs in this category extends from Sari colors to the most elegant
understated neutrals in fashion-forward designs that the market demands.
The new hand-knotteds start at under $20 retail and give the buyer who
is ready to step up to hand knotted construction a great opportunity to
do so."
In the
hand-knotted category, the newest collection, Sobek, is woven of viscose
yarn and priced at less than $30 per square foot at retail. As with all
LR Resources knotted collections, Sobek is available in 4x6, 5'6"x8'6",
8x10, 9x12, 10x14, and custom sizes.

The new Sobek collection from LR Resources is hand knotted in a
wool and viscose blend in India. Retail for 5'6"x8'6" is $2,000.

LR
Resources produces its hand tufted, hand knotted, and hand woven area
rugs in India from a variety of materials including wool, natural
grasses, and cotton. In addition, the company will show several Turkish
Wilton loomed area rugs collections and an extensive selection of
decorative pillows.
