THE EXCLUSIVE GUIDE TO AREA RUGS AT HIGH POINT MARKET, PART 2

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- The October 2017 edition of High Point Market opens Saturday, but shoppers have plenty to do and see at showrooms getting a head start on Friday.

The looks that continue to resonate with shoppers include global and tribal inspired styles, which get updated with innovative constructions and materials in on point color combinations. Bohemian looks also remain a hot item, but again new constructions and weaving techniques get paired with fresh colors for amped up styling. Popular colors for the fall of 2017 prove to be cool perennial favorites:  blue -- in myriad shades but quite notably indigo -- and gray, and a fresh warmer, fall-like palette that included yellows, oranges, reds and browns. And while color and design top the list, plush and soft feels and highly textured looks are right up there too.

In addition, a spate of new licensing programs debuting in the rug category will keep buyers' party calendars full, and there are fun activities and CEU courses to fill the any gaps.

Below is Part 2 from LR Resources to Trans-Ocean of RugNews.com's definitive guide to area rugs at the Fall High Point Market. Make sure not to miss Part 1, from Amer to Loloi click here.
