FASHION PREVIEW: LAS VEGAS MARKET COLOR STORY, PART 2, SPICE
|
LAS VEGAS -- In Part 2 of RugNews.com's comprehensive Las Vegas fashion report, our editors explore a fresh color story popping up in showrooms -- one that features a far warmer autumnal look than at markets held earlier this year.
This departure from the cooler tones or vivid combinations so popular in the first half of 2017 will resonate with buyers seeking a heartier palette, ranging from vermilion and burnt orange to earthy russets, at Las Vegas Market, held from July 30-Aug. 3.
The spice tones are showing up in a broad sweep of styles, including classic Persian designs, abstract, painterly ones, simple graphic looks, erased and vintage styles, nomadic tribal designs, and all-over classic motifs. In Part 2, we explore what rug makers from Linon to United Weavers have to offer in spice shades.
A concurrent counterpoint is explored in Part 1 of our Fashion Preview to Las Vegas Market, where we investigate a sea-glass palette in all its soothing iterations. Click here to read Rugnews.com's comprehensive premarket fashion report where we tour rug makers from Amer to Kas.
