HICKSVILLE, N.Y. - Fresh new faces debuted at Kalaty showrooms in addition to the latest area rug fashions at Atlanta International Area Rug Market, Las Vegas Market and this week at NY Now.
"We proudly announce that the third generation of our family is now active in the company," said company spokesman Kamran Kalaty. "Customers visiting Kalaty showrooms at this winter's markets in Atlanta and Las Vegas have met and worked with Gabriel Kalaty, Warren Kalaty and David Kalaty, my nephews who have recently joined the company."

The Kalaty family Oriental rug business originated more than 100 years ago in Iran under Mirza Kalaty's grandfather and in 1979 Mirza established the company in the USA. Today Mirza and his five sons - Ramin, Mike, Farshad, Ariel and Kamran - operate the company, which is headquartered in Hicksville, Long Island.
