HIGH
POINT, NC - Company C, a premium home furnishings lifestyle brand, will
introduce a new rug brand called Colorfields at High Point Market April
18 to 23. The collection is composed of 50 exclusive rug designs and was
created with the goal of offering retailers a line of rugs that are both
fresh and well designed while delivering unprecedented value and lower
price points, according to Walter Chapin, co-founder of Company C.
"The
Colorfields concept starts with the idea of taking our 21
years'-experience in rug design and manufacturing to a larger audience,
reaching a broader and younger market, and catering solely to retail
businesses, specifically leading regional furniture and rug stores."
"Colorfields
is for modern and transitional spaces where people want cleaner lines
and minimalism without sacrificing decoration, self-expression or
beauty. We believe a great rug truly makes the room, and good design is
key. When creating living spaces, we believe good design makes people
feel better and should be accessible and affordable to many," Chapin
said.

Designs
appeal to four lifestyles: Loft living with geometrics and abstracts;
Country living with florals and hooked rug sensibilities; Coastal living
with blues and greens; and Global styles with damasks/medallions and
warmer tones.
According
to Chapin, "Future designs will have clean and modern lines, always in
fresh colors that appeal to a diverse and increasingly urban market."
The pieces in the collection are made from 100% wool, in hand-tufted,
hooked and loomed constructions.
A 5'6" x
8'6' retails for under $600. Chapin says, "This is an exciting
opportunity for us to reach new markets, and for retailers to offer a
look and label not found anywhere else."
The
collection will be on display at Showplace 2350, and is also online at
www.colorfields.net.
