07312017 Amazon Launches Online Novogratz Home Boutique, Celebrates with Las Vegas Market Party

LAS VEGAS -- At 9:00 Eastern Time this morning, Amazon officially launched its e-commerce Novogratz Home Boutique featuring products designed and curated by Cortney and Robert Novogratz. The fanfare continues tonight at the e-tail giant's new Las Vegas Market showroom (A934) with a party from 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. celebrating the digital boutique's debut. 
 
 
Robert and Cortney Novogratz and Amazon will celebrate their online boutique at a party tonight at the retailer's Las Vegas Market showroom (A934).
 
Unveiled this week at market, the new showroom is decked out with Novogratz licensed products on sale at the Amazon boutique in six categories: rugs, beds, lighting, wall décor, furniture, and door mats. Robert and Courtney Novogratz will be on hand to meet and greet Las Vegas Market shoppers and exhibitors.
 
 
A lifestyle room styled by the Novogratz features their Retro Classic shag area rug along with the designers' other furnishings available on Amazon. 
 
Dubbed the First Family of Design, the Novogratz say they partnered with Amazon on their online storefront to provide customers with the quality of a boutique shopping experience coupled with the ease of Amazon's online ordering system.
 
The parents of seven, Robert and Cortney sought out the collaboration with Amazon to offer practical and accessible solutions for modern families to revamp their homes. "We're big believers that everyone deserves the boutique experience - a home that feels bespoke, personalized, and well curated. As avid Amazon shoppers, we felt it was the perfect platform to provide just that, as Amazon is the quickest, easiest way to shop," said Robert Novogratz.
 
 
In this lifestyle setting, Amazon shoppers are introduced to the Novogratz' Retro collection Stockings Shag area rug and Majesty linen upholstered bed.
 
Cortney Novogratz explained: "It's always been our dream to design pieces at an affordable price point: as parents of seven, we're constantly mixing high and low. We've got many of these new pieces in our own home and can't wait for Amazon customers to show us how they decorate their homes using the same products."

The online boutique collection includes about 50 rugs from the Novogratz by Momeni licensing partnership. A sneak peek at the Amazon showroom revealed the rugs on display in furniture vignettes at every turn. Online, the rugs are promoted in total room lifestyle imagery styled by the Novogratz.
 
The Amazon showroom is typically used at the Vegas market as a meeting place for potential and existing vendors on the site.
 
Asked why Novogratz rugs have done so well on e-commerce sites, Reza Momeni, principal, said, "The line is very colorful and priced right.  It's a great product; relevant to any generation." He pointed out that Robert and Cortney Novogratz are proactive about reaching out to consumers on social media. "People take photos of their products and rush to post them on Facebook or Instagram. This is actually organic marketing. Their reviews on Amazon and social media have been great, too," Momeni said.
 
Amazon Learning Series
 
Other nightly events at the e-commerce retailer's showroom this week include Amazon Fair, a learning series dedicated to deep-diving topics and helping vendors navigate the company's systems. The first presentation, Turning Chargebacks into Efficiencies, was held on July 30. A second learning series event, Building Your North American Business, is schedule for August 1.  The events are held at the A934 showroom from 4 pm to 5 pm and presentation materials will be provided to all that attend.
 
Amazon invites existing businesses on the marketplace as well as those who want to learn how to begin selling their products on the e-commerce site, to meet with catalog team members at the showroom. Onsite are experts who can help set up new products, imaging specialists to assist in making products pop on the site, and operations consultants for additional guidance.
 
Free coffee and espresso are served daily (9am -12pm), and happy hours (4-5pm).
 
An assortment of Novogratz by Momeni Rugs and home furnishings by the designers is on display at Amazon's Las Vegas Market showroom.
