LOLOI'S LAVISH 600-PAGE CATALOG WOWS WITH RUG-MAKING AND PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY

The newly launched 2016 Loloi catalog features an insider look at the artistry and craft of rug making in addition to extensive product photography.

DALLAS--Loloi has infused the 2016 edition of its annual catalog with artful behind-the-scenes rug-making imagery photographed at its facilities in India. The documentary style photography depicts steps in yarn production as the well hand-knotting, hand-tufting and hand-weaving processes for retailers and designers who are hungry for background information that romances the art and craft of rug making, according to Cyrus Loloi, a company principal.

A dramatic photo of a weaver in India is part of the story-telling, documentary style of the new 2016 Loloi catalog.

With over 600 pages of inspiring product photography and descriptions, how-to tips and rug care information, as well as the new documentary-style production shots from India, the 2016 catalog is available in print form, and is also online at the company's website here.

The Loloi catalog includes all running rug and pillow collections, and introduces throws, launched at summer 2015 markets, as a new product category for the company. With an emphasis on story-telling, Loloi has created an impactful catalog and working tool for retailers and interior decorators alike.

In addition to full descriptions and vivid photography, the annual catalog includes tips for cleaning, maintenance and rug selection; a sample rack display; and a magazine-type article featuring Loloi's collaboration with New York Times best-selling author Justina Blakeney.

Loloi also uses a magazine approach for a closer look at the successful 2015 Anastasia collection in rooms styled by four design industry trend-setters.

"The 2016 Catalog invites the reader to see how artisans transform a raw tangle of fiber into a rug--line by line and thread by thread--using mostly nothing but their hands and the rituals that have been passed down to them from previous generations," said Cyrus Loloi, principal. "It's truly a remarkable process, and it serves as a good reminder that each design is meticulously made with care and years of mastery."

The rug-making imagery will be used in different contexts in addition to the catalog, including the company's website, and social media.
