CAPEL RESTRUCTURES
SALES ORGANIZATION
TROY, N.C. -- Capel Rugs has restructured it sales organization with retailers now assigned to regional sales managers who are Capel employees, according to Allen Robertson, vice president of sales.
The decision to restructure is part of Capel Rugs' ongoing program to make the company more responsive to the marketplace, according to Robertson. "Utilizing Capel employees will improve the level of service to our customers," said Robertson.
"In order to meet the needs of an evolving marketplace, Capel has restructured its sales force in a flexible plan that still meets the needs of our dealer channel," said Robertson.
Capel regional sales managers are Andrew Buchheit, Vickie Carder, Gil Flores, Laura Freitag, Jim McNally, Tom Perraud and Jake Sweeters. They will each oversee a designated geographic location.
The new structure will allow Capel Rugs to focus more on maintaining and developing relationships and meaningful dialog with its customers, according to the company.
"Buyers have come to know Capel for its quality craftsmanship and come back year after year for our distinctive new designs and supportive service," said Robertson.
Capel, Inc. is based in Troy, NC where the company is engaged in spinning, dyeing, weaving, braiding and sewing Capel's "American Original" braided rugs.
In addition to its signature braids, Capel also offers hand-tufted, hand-knotted, indoor-outdoor and youth-friendly collections. The company's product line includes one-of-a-kind, Capel proprietary, private label and licensed designer rugs.
