GREENSBORO, NC - Angela Hebert, 65, lost a courageous battle with cancer on
Saturday November 22, 2014 at Duke University Medical Center. She was born in
Thomasville, N.C. on October 31, 1949. She worked for Safavieh for eight years
as manager of the company’s showrooms at Historic Market Square in High Point
and handled sales to retailers and designers in North and South Carolina. She
previously represented several furniture lines for 18 years, including A. A.
Laun and Marlow Upholstery.
Hebert is survived by her loving husband Phillip “Phil” Hebert; two daughters,
Stephanie H. Ellis (Michael) and Jolie Hebert all of High Point; two sisters,
Bobbie Stubblefield of Thomasville, Bonnie Cecil of Winston-Salem; a brother
David Allison of Thomasville; and two grandchildren Jacob and Emily Ellis.
“Angie leaves her family, friends and coworkers a legacy of laughter, kindness,
and courage, and we will miss her dearly. She was a talented interior designer
and sales representative. Angie was also a gourmet cook and an impeccable
hostess who loved to entertain and whose incomparable Southern hospitality made
every High Point market special for our team and our customers,” said Arash
Yaraghi, a Safavieh principal.
A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday November 25, 2014 at Cumby
Family Funeral Service High Point Chapel with interment to follow in Guilford
Memorial Park Greensboro. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Monday at the funeral home.
The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 4-A
Oak Branch Dr. Greensboro, NC 27407.
